I used your easy recovery software on my computer and it fixed the problem straight away. Thanks.
Screwed up my wife's computer the day before she needed it for a presentation messing with the partitions. Downloaded the recovery disc and was up and running in minutes.
well worth the price, even though a super computer geek might have figured out what was wrong and solved it through partition magic or the built in partitioning software in Windows 7, but I had no clue. I was playing with my partition sizes and suddenly my boot drive wouldn't load windows and I couldn't even get to the recovery section. I didn't have a DVD rom in the machine, so even if I had my Windows recovery disks, I couldn't do much. So I downloaded this on another machine, burned the ISO (it is totally automated and easy) and then put my hard drive in the other laptop, and booted from that machine's dvd drive. Presto, it fixed the partition and I saw something there about me making it not active, and then something about fixing my MBR, but the key point is that the entire process took maybe 10 minutes (I skipped the memory test) and when I popped the drive back into the original machine, I was up and running. Great expenditure of $20 - highly recommended!
I can't get to driver running This is useless for me
I recommend you read the guides before purchasing. In addition to the RE software, you need to download their program to make your USB bootable, and follow their instructions. At first, it didn't boot, reinstalled it again and got it going. Auto repair didn't fix registry problem but I got it to a restore point from previous week and now it works. All in all it works.
All the reviews are positive, that should have been my first warning sign. No doubt this review will not be shown. Had a hard drive failure. Installed new drive and thought this will bring the laptop back to life, at least to be able to connect to the internet or reload windows from CD, but no such luck. Unable to open CD draw to whilst the CD from so called easy recovery is in, they must have disabled it. Unable to connect to the internet, even when plugged into the modem with cable.
Don't waste your money, go somewhere else!
My own fault, thought it be more convenient to download a fix rather than taking the Sony laptop to a repairer. No I am going to pay to have it fixed twice.
This was a waste of money and time. Do not even spend your money. Download the files and get no directions. The lousy video tutorial is an advertisement. Had to go to YouTube for directions. Still a bad program, with little support. Even if it fixed my PC.
So I had a laptop that started the endless reboot loop after the latest Vista Update. Neosmart is a lifesaver! I used it to do a really easy system restore and now I'm back in business! I understand from my google searches that most people had to reformat their hard-drive to overcome this, but I didn't lose anything!! Thanks a million for this! I highly recommend Neosmart!
Created an ISO disk but it doesn't work. How about some instructions for making it bootable.
Editor's response: Instructions are available in text, picture-by-picture, and video format at http://j.mp/EREUSB and http://j.mp/ImgBurn
The downloaded disk worked fast but unfortunately it quickly showed me that the hard drive was not there (must be completely dead). Therefore, I could do nothing to recover the computer.
