A virus crashed the operating system and after removing the drive, scanning, cleaning , and rebooting Vista would not start.... at all... nothing.... dead.
I asked what it would cost at the local shop for them to fix and they said $100! and they were just going to wipe the drive! the $20 was worth it.
I thought for sure I was going to get ripped off by you... sorry.

2 mins and its back into working conditions. So pleasant , I took more time typing this then it took to repair the Windows XP faulty boot. After trying all known manual fix, I spent 20$ and its done.
All the reviews are positive, that should have been my first warning sign. No doubt this review will not be shown. Had a hard drive failure. Installed new drive and thought this will bring the laptop back to life, at least to be able to connect to the internet or reload windows from CD, but no such luck. Unable to open CD draw to whilst the CD from so called easy recovery is in, they must have disabled it. Unable to connect to the internet, even when plugged into the modem with cable.
Don't waste your money, go somewhere else!
My own fault, thought it be more convenient to download a fix rather than taking the Sony laptop to a repairer. No I am going to pay to have it fixed twice.
I tried to rebuild boot files, and tried many CMD items from research to correct this. Power loss/improper shutdown even though on UPS. Oh well. Was able to copy some files over to a USB that were recent files I had not backed up yet.
Was at the point of saying "screw it", format and rebuild (Raid 1). My system restore wouldn't even work.
Found this online and paid the $40 for win7 professional. Holy smokes! It fixed the boot files and everything else best $40 I could have spent.
Pay the money! Out of respect for these mastermind programmers, don't try and bootleg this. They earned their money from me.
i tryed for a long time to down load and burn did not happen and no one to help. was of $20.00 and a lot of my time, and i m no on my computer its still not working no help no happy !

Switched out my 1tb harddrive with a 2tb harddrive and suddenly faced boot issues even though my 250gb ssd was the boot drive.. Tried a bunch of other solutions before finding you guys. Easily created a bootable USB by following your guide and was back on my PC with no problems 5 minutes later. Thanks again.
Your product was the answer to getting my desktop computer working again. I had been on the phone with the Microsoft “\1” team who rebooted my machine several times until it finally threw the blue screen at us. I was not happy when they responded that there was nothing more they could do and suggested I contact a local IT person.
I stumbled onto your website and wanted you to know how grateful I am. I downloaded the file, burned it onto a cd and rebooted my machine. Then I sat back while your GREAT product performed it's magic. It worked the first time and in my opinion is worth much more than the twenty dollars you charge.
Screwed up my wife's computer the day before she needed it for a presentation messing with the partitions. Downloaded the recovery disc and was up and running in minutes.
My Windows 8 laptop was stuck on 'please wait' forever. I could not get into the diagnostic tools. and I did not have a recovery CD/USB. This software took just a few seconds to have me up and running. Amazing product!
