Make the fix free for everyone...
Posted by Jamie on October 21, 2015

Why don't you guys make this free for all users until Windows 10 gets a service pack and is stable. its stupid to charge ppl that upgraded and have thier laptops and pc's break and unbootable because of it. Why should I have to pay to fix something before I even get a chance to use it...

Fixd completely trashed Windows 10 with dual booting
Posted by Martin Wright on October 19, 2015

After trying other tools which said they would fix my breaking of BCDEDIT boot manager on my Windows 10 Laptop with the new security boot manager. The other failed and hour have been wasted.

I decided to buy and try EasyRE. Guess what it took around 20 minutes to buy download and burn to USB with there own Easy ISO to USB. The software found a backup of a couple of days ago and I was back up and running within 20 minutes.

Worth the money as it will no doubt be used again and again with windows 10.

I had just upgraded my Acer Aspire One 722 from Win 7 to Win 10. It went so well that I thought I should get a new battery to increase my portable time. The machine would not recognize it, and in trying so many suggested ways to fix the problem, I ended up with a blown file in the Win 10 boot.

Tried a lot of stuff, then in desperation went to Geek Squad in the Best Buy store. What a joke! The young guy said, “I think your operating system is kaput!” DOH....like telling me that the computer won't boot; I already knew that. So the verdict? Base cost $150 just to look at it, MAYBE they could give me a new OS, wipe out all my data and programs. I said fugedaboudit! and found this site on a forum, decided to spend the $20 on this software and Lo and Behold! I could download to my other (working) computer, create a bootable thumb drive. Then set the Acer's boot hierarchy to see the thumb drive first, booted and repaired Win 10 and VOILA! total time till I had my Acer back = 20 minutes, including the download and creation of the bootable thumb drive.

Bravo guys! You saved the life of a great little computer!

Fully recommended. Black screen finally solved!

wow, works like magic! A giant thank you! I was trying to figure out how to fix my black screen on start-up for the whole day. No success. Then I came across this sw and decided to give it a go. It worked on the first try - Automated repair option. Hopefully the annoying black screen is gone forever. My laptop also seems to work faster now. Certainly worth the money...

Best value for a dollar

This is the best value for a dollar you will ever receive. I had major problems and the repair process was complicated and long running but they stuck with me through the entire ordeal. Neosmart can be a little slow in getting back to you but they always do and there solutions are amazing. Thanks very much. I could not recommend them more strongly.

Perfect!

My Windows 8 laptop was stuck on 'please wait' forever. I could not get into the diagnostic tools. and I did not have a recovery CD/USB. This software took just a few seconds to have me up and running. Amazing product!

***THANK YOU***

A couple of days ago when I was removed from civilization and lacking in sleep, I started working on the partitions on my external hard drive.

Only one small problem, I was actually working on my Windows 10 internal boot drive. And yes, you can guess what happened. I zapped my MBR/GBR. :-(

When I got home, I ran CloneZilla to back up my internal drive. That took nearly two hours.

Then downloaded your Windows 10 ERE and burned a DVD with it. Booted off the DVD which took forever. Eventually I was given the choice of doing the automated fix. As you probably already know, the MBR/GBR fix took perhaps a minute and I could boot my system.

My only complaint was that I took two hours imaging my internal drive before using ERE. But that is the safe thing to do.

THANK YOU for having the downloadable ERE. You saved my sanity. That helps. I will have to figure out something to purchase from you to support your free downloadable ERE.

Thank you again for being there.

Great Product - Windows 10 install.....GOOF

Easy Recovery Essentials may be the best software I have purchased in YEARS!!! I decided to be cool and install Win 10 on my sons laptop. Of course I didn't back up all of his homework. Five minutes into the 10 install the computer crashed and to say the least my son was livid. I spent hours trying to repair to no avail. I started to Google for help and ran across this program. I NEVER purchase these products but in desperation I caved and purchased. Best $20.00 ever spent. Period!!!

Well done on a great job

I don’t usually leave comments as most free give-aways are just a con, however, this time it requires one.

I have windows 10 and had a black screen of death it would not load at all. I downloaded the free recovery dvd on my windows 64 bit machine. I then burnt it to dvd and used it on my 32 bit windows10 machine and in 20 mins my computer was restored to its usual self. I cant thank you enough. Well done on a great job.

By the way I am not a computer engineer just a novice who likes to play with computers so anybody can use this disk with just a little knowledge. Thanks again for saving me hours rebooting.

After spending all day attempting to repair my Windows 7 PC utilising various methods described on the net I came across a link in a post to EasyRE. I thought I had nothing to lose so purchased it. Fixed my PC within 10 minutes. The best $20 spent for sure.

Great tool overall but not that easy of a process to burn the ISO on an USB.

First of all I just have to say that this tool worked exactly as advertised for me. Once I got it all set up, it fixed my BCD problem in the blink of an eye and Bam I was able to get back on Windows. The only downside is that you are required to use neosmart's custom ISO burner to get the file on an USB, which didn't seem to work on my Windows XP but I managed to use the program on my family's Windows Vista computer. Even tools like Rufus and Unetbooting (I'd recommend everyone stays away from the later) weren't able to burn the ISO properly due to the grub version that had to be used. Even if I had a bit of a hard time at first, I would still encourage anyone having problems with windows to get this rather than putting money down the drain by taking it to a computer repair shop.
