Easy Recovery Essentials Reviews

Long story short, I would get to the log in screen and then the screen went black after..could open the Task Manager..open Firefox and browse BUT, the windows GUI was not there. So strange. I was transfering an OS from a HDD to a SSD. Anyways, this worked!

A couple of days ago when I was removed from civilization and lacking in sleep, I started working on the partitions on my external hard drive.

Only one small problem, I was actually working on my Windows 10 internal boot drive. And yes, you can guess what happened. I zapped my MBR/GBR. :-(

When I got home, I ran CloneZilla to back up my internal drive. That took nearly two hours.

Then downloaded your Windows 10 ERE and burned a DVD with it. Booted off the DVD which took forever. Eventually I was given the choice of doing the automated fix. As you probably already know, the MBR/GBR fix took perhaps a minute and I could boot my system.

My only complaint was that I took two hours imaging my internal drive before using ERE. But that is the safe thing to do.

THANK YOU for having the downloadable ERE. You saved my sanity. That helps. I will have to figure out something to purchase from you to support your free downloadable ERE.

Thank you again for being there.

I just want to say that I was sceptical that this was going to be another way of spending money without success.

I also want to say. WOW! what a product, what support and IT WORKS!

The Best $20 You'll Ever Spend!
By Jamie Killian on October 10, 2016

Recently, whenever we lose power my Windows 7 PC's CMOS resets to the default values rendering my computer unbootable (I believe this has something to do with the dates adjusting). The only solution I could do to get running again was to do a full format and re-install everything, a process that could take 2-3 days. I purchased EasyRE in the hopes that it could fix things a lot faster and it did, best money I ever spent and I was up and running in-tact within an hour!

Your Windows 7 recovery Disk is GREAT. After trying Restore Disks, Acronis, Comodo Time Machine and Windows 7 Repair to no avail, Your disk put my PC back to normal in a matter of minuets.

All I can say is WOW. Holy SH*T. This tool works. After being a knuckle head and messing with my SSD my Win 7 Ultimate System went into a reboot loop and just would not start. I searched in a PANICKED FRENZY for a solution on the boards - everywhere. After I noticed that when using my recovery CD that my system was not even recognizing my OS on the right drive - somehow I managed to stumble on to the NeoSmart site. They even offer step by step how to fix your MBR - but when I tried it it did not work. Then I saw the option to just buy their CD and it would fix the issue. I was like yeah right but I was desperate. Ordered it, burned the ISO image onto a CD using another computer - booted off of it - their menu came up - I clicked repair and BAM - my system booted after I restarted it! That's INSANE!!!! It really works. Just Buy It. Thanks for a great product.

Great bit of kit - saved my laptop
By Cumoangerraff on October 5, 2013

I had compressed my C drive to save space, and only afterwards realised my folly, when my laptop wouldn't boot. It kept going through a repair loop and restarting, but always ending with a black screen. I asked my work's IT expert, who laughed and suggested I would probably lose everything.

Looking on a variety of forums, I tried several approaches, none of which worked. I tried a W7 repair disc, but the laptop wouldn't recognise it. I downloaded a windows 7 system disc, which went so far and then stopped. I was almost at the point of giving up, and trying my system recovery disc, which would scrub all my files, when I saw a review of Easy RE. Not a lot to lose, I paid my £12 and downloaded it, burnt it onto a DVD, and popped it in my dead laptop. Less than 5 minutes later, the message told me to take out the DVD and restart my computer.

Pure dead brilliant, my laptop works fine. I can't thank you guys enough. I'll keep ERE handy and definitely recommend it to anybody as the first tool to use.

It really works

It really works, tried a number of boot discs that didn't work and spent a lot of money

You guys need a medal for developing this recovery disc. I'm still amazed how easy it worked. The Gateway recovery disc's wouldn't work either.
