- Retired to live in the heart of France three years ago.Previously lived in Manchester UK. Couldn't take the noise and dirt any more. Now I'm in paradise! Had computers from dos days, wife was senior systems analyst working on mainframes for local government and we spent hours making boot disks to make applications work with a 50 meg hardrive and 16 megs of ram.
