    EasyBcd 2.2 and GPT discs.

See if this helps? http://www.wensley.org.uk/gpt http://askubuntu.com/questions/369284/install-grub2-on-uefi-gpt-create-boot-partition-and-transfer-clonezilla-image

Problem with loading some CD images.

OK, I understand this, however... It's my understanding that BIOS has devices load their interim 'drivers' from their firmware at boot, and that these are then replaced by the Operating System's drivers during the OS loading process. The reason that DOS can use GRUB's mapped emulated drives is...

Any chance of adding support for installing custom bootloaders to MBR / PBR?

Normally to install GRUB2 they recommend booting from a Live CD. So (possibly downloading) and burning a live CD, booting from it, and re-installing GRUB2. I found a utility that works nice from Windows, BootICE 1.3.2 x64 - just click "process MBR" and it brings up available MBRs to install...

Wish-list entry: "Manually" edit the BCD Store from within EasyBCD

Oh, I haven't tried it (used bcdedit manually), but I saw the option there afterwards, thanks. Should be handy for people who need it (I'd normally just use that (EasyBCD checkbox) but I've already got the command line for that stuck in my head so I might as well just type it in).

Wish-list entry: "Manually" edit the BCD Store from within EasyBCD

You mean with Metro on? I left it disabled so I could boot 7 without having to load half of Win 10. Why?

Problem with loading some CD images.

It appears that any CD / hard disk image that loads an OS that uses it's own drivers to access the filesystem fails. You can load Linux-based images with some options if the kernel supports it through the /iso-scan flag, but that's not my aim here.. e.g., I can load up FalconFour's UBCD 4.61...

    GRUB2Win thoughts (integrate GRUB4Dos?)

Just had an idea inspired by using the GRUB2 rescue prompt and loading modules... You can build your own modules (see here, so, how about including GRUB4Dos features such as map as GRUB2/Win modules? Don't know why they haven't done this with GRUB2 already (maybe they have and I don't know...

Triple boot (Win10, Win7 and Linux)

Yes. I have to try the latest build though. Might have something to do with Windows and GRUB4DOS seeing the partitions differently? I dunno. EDIT: It would help if I knew where GRUB4DOS got its configuration (where to look for the HD / Partition / file it's supposed to boot).... I'm...

Any chance of adding support for installing custom bootloaders to MBR / PBR?

Backup / Restore MPR / PBR from file, as well as perhaps having several common bootloader files included to restore from. Although, perhaps bury it behind an Advanced section and provide a good warning that incorrectly changing this could render the system unbootable without rescue media handy...

Triple boot (Win10, Win7 and Linux)

This is similar to what I got when I tried to boot several different .ISO files -- no matter what I select, it just boots FalconFour's instead of Hiren's, Hiren's Rebuild, or Win XP Setup .ISO Perhaps check the Visual BCD Editor from the link below and see what exactly is created for each...

    BURG and GRUB2Win

From what I've read, it appears GRUB2Win is based straight from GRUB2, just ported to Windows? Let me ask the GRUB2Win guy(s).

BURG : https://code.google.com/p/burg/ (Brand new Universal loadeR from GRUB)GRUB2Win : Grub2Win | SourceForge.net (GRUB2 for Win) Are you folks aware of those projects? Are there any plans to integrate them into EasyBCD like GRUB4Dos and PLoP?I'm asking because GRUB4DOS likes to dump me...

Triple boot (Win10, Win7 and Linux)

According to what I have read:Install Win 7, then Win 10, then Linux. You must use Win 10 to boot 7. (Win 7 BCD won't recognize Win 10)You could use EasyBCD to add Linux to Win 10 but I would just use GRUB and use that to boot Win 10. (Whenever I try to boot Linux using EasyBCD's GRUB4DOS it...
