failed to initialize on fresh xp service pack 2 install
this application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) clck on ok to terminate xp service pack 2  xstation on a pc labtop

Have you installed NET 2.0 framework ? It's a prerequisite.

Terry is right. You do not have .NET 2.0 Installed. That is why it failed and terminated.
