I downloaded, and burned the img file for Vista x64 But I get the Error Code: 0x80070002 and cannot read from d:\sources\install.wim file is missing.
To download and burn this disk I followed the instructions from this site. Have I done something wrong? Up until this stage everything seems to have worked okay.
Any help appreciated.

Sorta have a similar problem....Lenovo laptop, got 3 files on the CD, BIOS set to boot from CD, wants to install Vista......repair says its not compatible.....what am I missing or doing wrong?

The size is 148MB and it contains 2 folders-boot and sources, and a bootmgr file. I downloaded the x64 torrent file from http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/downlo...recovery-disc/ and followed the instructions below. I did the x64 because the Lenovo rescue and recovery screen's system information told me that the OS was the x64 version.

The x86 didn't work either. I can get to command prompt so I was wondering if there is a way to boot from there?
