 Well I got XP back, used the Vista DVD to repair the bootloader, added XP to it with EasyBCD, XP seriously won't boot. What the heck?! Will I seriously need to completely format the hard drive and repartition it, redoing the whole tutorial from the beginning?

If your XP dual boot doesn't work, check the sticky thread (point 3 onwards) and check that you've got everything you need in the correct location. (In this case for "Vista" read "Windows 7", same logic applies.)
