Recurring Disk Failure - Win7
After installing Win7 32 bit on a Gigabyte MB with 4 GBs, AMD Phenom I an getting a "disK failure' error. I have checked connections, replaced HD, replaced, optical drive, reinstalled Win 7 as 64 bit, with same result. I have also run scf /scannow ans chkdsk /r. When system boots it seems as though it cannot locate boot loader? I have checked msconfig/boot and run Easy BCD and all appears to be OK? Suggestions for resolution are appreciated, TKS, BB3

I don't understand your exact problem. Presumably if you've run EasyBCD, then the system boots OK ? So when do you get this disk error ?
