    Default 2nd Windows 7 partition does not boot...

    Hi @ all,

    I have the following configuration on my EasyBCD 1.7.2:

    Windows Boot Manager
    --------------------
    identifier {9dea862c-5cdd-4e70-acc1-f32b344d4795}
    device partition=C:
    path \bootmgr
    description Windows Boot Manager
    locale en-US
    inherit {7ea2e1ac-2e61-4728-aaa3-896d9d0a9f0e}
    default {a6762f42-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    displayorder {a6762f42-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    {a6762f43-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    {a6762f44-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    toolsdisplayorder {b2721d73-1db4-4c62-bf78-c548a880142d}
    timeout 5

    Windows Boot Loader
    -------------------
    identifier {a6762f42-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    device partition=D:
    path \Windows\system32\winload.exe
    description Windows 7 Try and Decide
    locale de-DE
    osdevice partition=D:
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {9867802c-2f5d-11df-a9c7-806e6f6e6963}

    Windows Boot Loader
    -------------------
    identifier {a6762f43-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    device partition=C:
    path \Windows\system32\winload.exe
    description Windows 7
    locale de-DE
    osdevice partition=C:
    systemroot \Windows
    resumeobject {e5e18bc7-2f5d-11df-9d6d-806e6f6e6963}

    Windows Boot Loader
    -------------------
    identifier {a6762f44-2906-11df-93f3-001bfb585e7f}
    device partition=G:
    path \Windows\system32\winload.exe
    description Vista
    locale de-DE
    osdevice partition=G:
    systemroot \Windows

    ("windows 7 Try and Decide" is a mirrored partition from "Windows 7")

    "Windows 7" on Partition C: works fine
    "Windows 7 Try and Decide" on partition D: cannot be loaded
    "Vista" on partition G: works fine also.

    If I choose "Windows 7 Try and decide" on Partition D: the bootmanager always loads Windows 7 without prompting any message.

    I've already re-installed the MBR several times...
    impossible to start from Partition {a6762f42..... }

    Any idea what I can do?

    Thx

    EasyBCD 1.7 pre-dates W7
    Get EasyBCD 2.0 latest build which contains full W7 support.
    Try Diagnostics /reset BCD
