Windows Vista Recovery Disc 32-Bit (x86) Edition

I have burned the cd and have even booted to it...as soon as it load it goes to the green bar of loading vista and gets stuck. Is there anything I can do?

Best you can do is rescue your data with Ubuntu, wipe all the partitions on the drive, and re-install, but our recovery disc cannot be used for re-installs. You either need to use a recovery set provided with your computer or borrow a Windows disc from a friend, using the product key on the sticker attached to your computer.
