Recently, my laptop just flipped... I don't know what happened but this is all messy. I have Vista installed in the firs partition and XP on the second, Vista installed first, XP after.
Now, I can boot into Vista and this is my current BCD:
I can boot fine but every time I run EasyBCD I get the following screen:
Windows Boot Manager
description Windows Boot Manager
Windows Boot Loader
description Windows Vista Ultimate
I don't know what to do to fix this... I already did everything that the above dialog tells me to do but I keep getting that information dialog. This never happened to me. Although everything is working fine, that dialog popping up every time gives me some discomfort that something is wrong and I would really love to fix this issue.
I already tried to boot into Vista Recovery Environment and at the command prompt I tried:
But it didn't work and I always keep getting the above EasyBCD information dialog.
Another thing I might add, is that my XP drive ( D: )is screwed... I mean, it says it's in RAW format and I'm in the process of trying to recover the important data then format the whole partition and restore XP Image I had done with Acronis True Image. Just so you need to know...
What's wrong with my system, and how can I fix it?
