************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hello Amateur,

I need more info than that - what were you doing when this happened?

hmmm... that's weird.

Well, just for the record, all that does is launch boot.ini for now... and you do the rest on your own.
But weird nevertheless.

Do you have a drive C:?

Ah....

So you don't have a file called 'boot.ini' in drive C:\

Interesting.

Conclusion: Bug.
Status: Not yet fixed.

Thread will be closed in two days' time.

Additional information on drive organization:

Partition # Letter Size Type Content

1 C: 30Gb Pri Windows XP (incl. Boot.ini)
2 E: 30Gb Pri Vista 32bit
3 F: 40Gb Pri Vista 64bit
4 I: 30Gb Ext Scratch
5 D: 100Gb Ext Data

G: DVD ROM
H: DVD R/W

Error occurs when 1.1 is run under Vista 64bit (may occur in other configs)

Hey Jim,

Quick question:
In Vista, open the run dialog (press the winkey + r), and type
Code:
c:\boot.ini
What happens?

(Make sure this is in Vista x64, please)
