DOS 6.22 boot CD ISO Image

There are times when the Master Boot Record (MBR) can get messed up. If you go to reinstall the OS’s anyway sometimes it may be worth the extra step to boot up a DOS 6.22 boot disk and restore the MBR with the following command.

Fdisk /mbr

I haven’t found this to be of much use other than that because it won’t give access to the CD-ROM drive.

Please note that the FDISK /MBR and FIXMBR are not exact equivalents, and using one when you should be using the other can cause unintended damage to your the term papers system. Do not use commands like this unless you understand exactly what they do, and why those differences might be relevant to a specific problem.

Just wanted to thank you for the notice as I had little understanding about FDISK /MBR and FIXMBR being not equivalent. Hopefully, now I'll avoid many mistakes!
