Easy BCD to setup boot onto secondary partition

Hello everyone. I tried looking around the posts for an answer but couldn't find one.

In summary, my system has 1 physical HDD with two partitions. Partition 1 contains Win 7 and it is set as primary, active, with an NTFS file system and assigned volume letter "C:" ; Partition 2 contains the image of OS X and is set as primary, innactive, with an NTFS file system and assigned volume letter "D:".

I am literally "playing" with EasyBCD to setup the MBR to dual-boot onto OS X.
I am getting a boot chain error whenever I try to boot the OS X.

I think this is because Easy BCD is pointing to a bootloader path on the C: drive. My question is, how can I set it up so that it points to partition 2 and boots the OS X files?
Additionally, can anyone clarify whether setting partition 2 as primary, innactive and without an assigned volume letter is a "bootable" setup?

Thank you in advance for any help or tips!
