GUI bootloader?

Is there a GUI based bootloader out there that will recognize both Windows and Fedora? In my mind I'm picturing, that when the computer boots up it'll show a picture of the desktop of the OS that you want to boot into, so that all you have to do is click on the picture with the mouse and it'll load up. Anyone have any Ideas?

There are some commerical graphical loaders out there but none as far as I know that'll actually preview a desktop. Really a bootloader is a basic and shouldn't be more than what it is... that is, give you a list and pass on control to the OS.

I began developing a GUI bootloader with the HnS project, it was quite pointless. It's 2 meager seconds (at most) and not worth it.
