iReboot Missing a Vista Entry

I am having the same problem, but I only have ireboot installed, I removed EasyBCD from my computer when I got the dual boot working. My problem is that in both vista and XP I only have XP home showing underneath the "Reboot on selection" part of the menu, here is my bcdedit....
Code:
Windows Boot Manager
--------------------
identifier              {bootmgr}
device                  partition=C:
default                 {default}
resumeobject            {26a87643-c304-11dc-bee3-806e6f6e6963}
displayorder            {default}
                        {cfad3375-c36d-11dc-9e92-c39b3e98149d}
timeout                 30
Windows Boot Loader
-------------------
identifier              {default}
device                  partition=D:
path                    \Windows\system32\winload.exe
description             Microsoft Windows Vista
osdevice                partition=D:
systemroot              \Windows
resumeobject            {26a87643-c304-11dc-bee3-806e6f6e6963}
Real-mode Boot Sector
---------------------
identifier              {cfad3375-c36d-11dc-9e92-c39b3e98149d}
device                  partition=C:
path                    \NTLDR
description             XP Home

I would be grateful if you could help me as this seems like a great utility if I could only get it to work.
Thanks in advance guys!!!

I'm currently in XP right now, and it works fine here.....
Note that EasyBCD is not required.

To debug:
Start | Run | CMD.exe
Code:
cd \Program Files\NeoSmart Technologies\iReboot\
bcdedit.exe

Copy and paste the output here, please.

Hello paulus-the-walrus and Welcome to NeoSmart Technologies. As Mahmoud said a while back EasyBCD is not a requirement for iReboot. So it has to be something else that is affecting this.

Are you using any kind of 3rd party boot manager?

Hi Computer Guru, I tried that beta version and it does exactly the same, only XP showing. And it's supposed to bypass the "startup items have been blocked" message. I normally dissable my UAC anyway and I can always quickly run ireboot from the desktop so this is not a problem, but I still can only select xp from the boot menu. Its not a problem when in vista I can select XP, I would just like it so that when in XP I can select vista. I'ts a handy util when you can restart and walk away as I'm a busy person.
Thanks for your help so far.

Yes, well that's the reason we wrote it: so you can just select it and walk away.

And, yes, it is supposed to fix the UAC problem, but that doesn't mean I don't have more goodies stuffed up its sleeves.

I'll look into your problem more though - just hope for the best. :smile:

Hi Cabobigden, welcome to NST.

I'm still looking into the issue actually. I'll admit, I haven't poked too deep in, but I didn't see anything that would cause this error.... :S

Can you please post your exact copy of the BCD details?
