Microcode Update with NeoGrub possible?

Hi,

would it be possible to extend NeoGrub, so a Microcode Update of the CPU is done before booting? In some way similar to the Update Microcode functionality of BIOS Implementation Test Suite - which is in fact a modified Grub 2.

I might want to add: That would help for boards where no bios update will be available to protect them against spectre.

And sorry for opening two threads. This thread went away from my browser - I think because of the link in its text a review was needed.
