My windows XP MT2000 Cant Load my SDCARD ! help

It worked perfectly before i reformated my XP .
but now it dont work . any ideas?

Try booting the PC with the card reader disconnected, then turn it off, reconnect the card reader, and boot again. XP should detect the new hardware and add it back into the configuration.

If it's a card reader built into your PC, it should have a lead from the reader to a USB port on the motherboard. Disconnect that temporarily.

Go to device manager (in computer management) by right-clicking on computer, select your computer (very top item in the list) and open the action menu and select "scan for hardware changes" If its plug and play it should install the hardware in the background but if not follow the onscreen directions for the wizard that appears. If this doesn't work go into your BIOS, disable your card reader, boot into XP, than re-enable it and boot into XP once more.

You sure it is not working? Maybe its just autoplay not coming up like you expect? Put in a sd card and go to my computer to see if it shows up as drive you can access...

If not, consult your local techie or take into the shop.
