Native Boot (Boot2VHD) - second drive

I have HP ZBook Studio G3 laptop and recently added extra M.2 drive (256GB (C:smile: + 256GB (D:smile:).
My host OS (Windows 10 Pro) is "empty" (only drivers are installed and VMware, EasyBCD).
First two VHD machines (both W10) are on C: drive and are working fine for months.
Recently I added new VHD (W10) but this time on second drive, because there is no free space on first drive.

I cannot native boot to W10 on second drive. I can see and select it on boot menu, but when restarts boot manu shows again. There is no sign of BSOD (e.g. not_enough_space).

Location of virtual machines (VHD):
C:\_VM
D:\_VM

All VHD names are without spaces.

What is possible error that latest VHD on second drive (D:smile: is not booting natively?

Thank you for explanations of possible reasons.

I can confirm that BSOD (NOT_ENOUGH_VOLUME) is not present because I saw it in the past when I had really low storage space on C.
I cannot seen any other error in host (Event Viewer).
Is possible to debug why boot loops to OS selection menu if I choose VHD on D?
Thank you.
