I have loaded XP-Pro into a new SSD and it worked fine. Then loaded Windows 7 Pro 64 bit in another partition on the SSD and it worked fine. Ran EasyBCD and set it up OK. Now, just before EasyBCD runs the boot up choices, I get "Disk error / Press any key to restart". As soon as I press any key (I mean immediately), EasyBCD displays the choices and works great. Any idea how to get read of this error message?

I guess I found the problem myself. Just a lucky find. I was trying to restart the computer too quickly. The SSD shuts down in about 6 seconds, but the 1 TB hard drive was still shutting down. By waiting about 20 seconds I do not get the error message. The message is still there IF I try to too quickly after the 6 seconds. I am sometimes too impatient.
