Vista Recovery Doesn't Work From USB

#1
I just purchased the Easy RE for Windows Vista and saved it on a USB hard drive from a Mac computer. Then, I have tried repeatedly to repair my computer. It will not boot up at all, even in Safe Mode. It appears the hard drive has some type of error in the config/sys. Don't know what to do and am so frustrated. I don't care so much about the Dell XPS computer but desperately need to access the data on that computer. Please help, someone!

Rather than tag your Vista issue onto a Windows 7 thread started 4 years ago, I've given you your own. However, support for the recovery disks is available only from them directly.

See this sticky post: Send EasyRE support requests to EasyRE@NeoSmart.net

It just occurred to me you said "saved it on USB" - although I'm no expert at this I do know it's not as simple as that.
