Hi
I have installed Linux Mint and when i restarted my computer, EasyBCD didn't work ... I have tried the 2.2.0 and the 2.3.0 versions but i have a error window every time. I taked a screenshot :

Thanks for help

Edit : I'm on a samsung laptop in windows 8.1

Try deleting the Neosmart Technologies folder from your User\..\appdata\local\ folder before installing EasyBCD again.

Can you please run this command in elevated command prompt:

Bcdedit /export "c:\users\YOUR USER NAME\desktop\bcd"

Then make a zip file from the BCD file now on your desktop and post it here as an attachment?

No problem, so long as it was exported correctly that will do just fine. I'll double-check as soon as I get back to the office.

(Re-uploading as an attachment for future posterity.)

I can't replicate this behavior with your BCD file - see the attached thumbnail.

If you use EasyBCD | File | Select BCD and then you choose this BCD file on your desktop, does it load OK? Are you sure you're using the very latest 2.3 BETA build?

In the elevated command prompt, can you try the following:

Code:
cd "\Program Files (x86)\NeoSmart Technologies\EasyBCD\bin\"
.\bcdedit.exe /enum all
echo %ERRORLEVEL%

What is the output of the last command?

I swap on the 2 versions because before install linux the 2.2.0 runs correctly but after not ... so maybe i create the bdc file with the 2.2.0 install, i make one with 2.3.0 BETA.

I can't load the file because i can't run easybcd ...

With the last command i obtain :

Code:
Microsoft Windows [version 6.3.9600]

C:\WINDOWS\system32>cd "\Program Files (x86)\NeoSmart Technologies\EasyBCD\bin\"

C:\Program Files (x86)\NeoSmart Technologies\EasyBCD\bin>.\bcdedit.exe /enum all

That explains it.

Code:
cd "\Program Files (x86)\NeoSmart Technologies\EasyBCD\bin\"
.\bcdedit /export "c:\users\YOUR USER NAME\desktop\bcd"

Code:
mountvol S: /s
copy s:\boot\bcd "c:\users\YOUR USER NAME\desktop\bcd1"
copy S:\efi\microsoft\boot\bcd "c:\users\YOUR USER NAME\desktop\bcd2"
mountvol s: /d

I have tried the command and i have 2 errors :

Code:
Microsoft Windows [version 6.3.9600]
(c) 2013 Microsoft Corporation. Tous droits réservés.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>mountvol s: /s
Le répertoire n'est pas vide.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>copy s:\boot\bcd "c:\users\Alexis\desktop\bcd1"
s:\boot\bcd
Le fichier spécifié est introuvable.
        0 fichier(s) copié(s).

C:\WINDOWS\system32>copy s:\efi\microsoft\boot\bcd "c:\users\Alexis\desktop\bcd2
"
tre processus.
        0 fichier(s) copié(s).

C:\WINDOWS\system32>mountvol s: /d
