Small boot issue in tri-boot setup

Thank you Guru I appreciate your assistance. I just want to know based on the pic provided, is it really a bug in EasyBCD or is there an obvious error in my Bootloader/MBR?

Small boot issue in tri-boot setup

Hello Justin and Terry, Much obliged. I will update my version immediately and be patient for any new insight. That or just reinstall the RC as it's only 2 days old ;) I imagine you'll be inundated after tomorrow but hopefully not. Warm regards to CG, you all do such a fantastic job in helping...

Small boot issue in tri-boot setup

Greetings, I installed Windows 7RC1 in the partition formerly occupied by 7 Beta. When I went to remove the 'Older version of Windows' entry, somehow I deleted the 7 entry as well. I tried to repair but 7 now boots with the Vista GUI. All three partitions (XP, Vista, 7) work fine but it's...

Successful tri-boot with one small issue

Greetings, I have successfully added a Windows 7 partition to my existing XP/Vista drive. My boot menu shows 4 entries however. 1. Vista (my default) 2. XP 3. Windows 7 4. Earlier Version of Windows Number 4 happens to boot into XP, the original OS on this single drive laptop. What I'd like...

    Another XP/Vista dual boot issue

I do have a slightly OT question. I'm in the habit of reformatting our laptops every 6-9 months. The most recent activity was simply adding a Vista partition to our existing XP. In the future do you have an opinion on which OS to install first? Does it matter? Scott

Very thorough I see. I may need a refill of Ativan (stat!) to keep my pressure in check before I begin. The capitalist in me says you should write a small script and charge a few pesos. I'd pay for that privilege. Scott

    Another XP/Vista dual boot issue

In my first post I mentioned that I found this thread and Easy BCD by accident. I was looking for a way to prohibit XP from deleting my Vista restore points. I have read your blog primer on the subject and am curious what the feedback has been. There have been so many complaints about this...
