    Why do I get “Battery not detected” on my laptop?

    What's your laptop model and brand? Edit: Try with turn off the computer and remove the battery and put the battery back and turn on your laptop. May it helps.

    Maybe a BIOS setting? In my BIOS I can set my computer to automatically restart when power is restored, of course, mine is a desktop so it doesn't have a battery, but probably worth checking.
