editing startup

Is there a place that I can edit what loads up when windows starts. Mostly I'm wanting to get rid of unused executables. I know some stuff can be found with services.msc but that doesn't show everything that the process tab shows.

Run msconfig.exe, it should provide you with what you're looking for.

Actually dreamer, there are more places than the mind can fathom that could be starting (unwanted) tasks at system startup.

MSConfig Cleanup - optimize your Windows startup

One of the best tools out there i have found to get rid of startup entries. Even better than the msconfig editor. This one shows more and actually disables them completely.
