Problem booting Linux on second disk

Hi Folks,

I've installed Ubuntu on my second HD with GRUB on its MBR. Using EasyBCD I tried to create a new entry for it in my Windows boot menu, but EasyBCD doesn't let me choose the MBR - only partitions are listed. Is there anyway around this except installing GRUB on the root partition?

TIA

Yes, but I missed the part of installing GRUB to /dev/sda1 (or /dev/sdb1 in my case). I've just re-installed GRUB the right way - it was simpler then I thought - so things work fine.

Thanks
