Error message when starting "easyBCD"

I am trying to install EasyBCD on my added XP drive, so I can fix the MBR. I get an error message that says " The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).
I had win 7-64 installed and added XP to a new partition. All has gone well, updated XP to SP3. I can only boot into XP, so I want to fix the boot, but BCD won't run.

Problem solved with the installation of .net 2.0 framework.

As you've discovered, EasyBCD requires .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 be installed
