How to create Windows 7 VHD from windows XP for booting using EasyBCD VHD boot ?

Is is possible by installing Windows 7 in MS Virtual PC's Virtual Machine ?

& is it possible to create VHD that contains linux ?

You cant create a Win7 VHD from XP. Completely different OS's. Unless your asking how you can still use XP and use EasyBCD to boot to a VHD. Again cant. EasyBCD is create for use with Vista/Win7, NOT XP. XP doesnt use the BCD to boot and there for what your trying wont work.

If your trying to create a VHD of Win7, yes it is possible from within Virtual PC.

Linux VHD is out there. Just have to find one that works for you.

than Linux VHD can also be created by installing in virtual machines ?

and some VMDK-to-VHD or VDI-to-VHD converters such as WINIMAGE converted VHD will be able to boot using windows 7 vhd boot ??

Anyone tried those already?
I'm currently running Win7 Professional. Does it also support VHD-booting?
According to Wikipedia only Enterprise and Ultimate editions support booting from VHD.
