downloading & installing beta builds 2.0

Hi,

In one of the threads on this forum, a member says to download and install EasyBCD 2.0 to fix the problem with UUID lines ( I cannot boot into ubuntu on my vista desktop. I get an error "Warning:unrecognized partition table ## please rebuild using a microsoft- compatible FDISK (err=17) Error 17: File not found... ). I understand that it has got something to do with downloading the beta 2.0 builds. I am able to download the builds but how do i install them?

I know i sound like a dunce but can you please help me?

Hi Linuxbuff, welcome to NST.
Just run the .exe you downloaded to Vista and it will install EasyBCD 2.0 where you tell it to.
Then run the installed program and follow the instructions in point 7 of the sticky thread.
