Dual boot Win10 and Linux Mint works, but...

I had Windows 10 Home 64 bit already installed.
Then I decide to install the latest Linux Mint 17.x Rafaela, after resizing C: drive and splitting the unused space to two partitions, i.e. ext4 and swap.

Info about my partitions using Minitool Partition Wizard 9.1
*******************************
*:SYSTEM , NTFS, Primary , status= Active & Boot, 200 MB (windows recovery ?!)
c: NTFS, Primary, status= System, 402 GB with win 10 64 bit home
*, Ext4, Primary, status= none, 52 GB Linux Mint 17.x Rafaela
*, Linux Swap, Primary, status= Nome, 11 GB Swap for Linux
*******************************

Using EasyBCD 2.3 I set the following booting config:
**********************************************************************
There are a total of 2 entries listed in the bootloader.
Default: Windows 10
Timeout: 30 seconds
EasyBCD Boot Device: C:\

Entry #1
Name: Windows 10
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \WINDOWS\system32\winload.exe

Entry #2
Name: Linux Mint
BCD ID: {c28d40d4-8353-11e5-9c09-101f7413e818}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \NST\AutoNeoGrub0.mbr
**********************************************************************

What's happening:
- I see the Win logo for some seconds
- 50+ or more seconds the screen is black
- a new graphical screen appears with 2 big squares menu items, one for Windows 10 and one for Linux Mint
- case A: if I click on Windows 10 square, in just in 1 or 2 seconds I got the Windows login screen, ready to accept my password and I can work (it seems the win os was already loaded...)
- case B: I click on the Mint square and the Linux Mint boot appears (text menu) and choosing the first option I ran a classic linux boot...
If I take a look to the other boot options in Mint, I can see the last option is a Windows 7 boot (my original OS on my laptop, partition C:smile: and the option before is a kind of Windows Recovery ....

Questions:
- why this Windows loading happens and let me choose the OS (win10 or Mint) so late, even with a blank screen in between? Is this normal with win10?

- is it possibile to have a boot loader that FIRST let mi decide the OS (win10 or Mint) and LATER loads itself?

Well, I can work with my dual boot configuration, but I cannot stand that Win10 black screen while the OS is loading and THEN Windows asks me to choose a Win or Mint.. :smile:

Any tips?
