Error Opening BCD Registry

I ran Install BCD on a USB device. EasyBCD reported that it converted the selected disk into a bootable drive, but it failed to load the newly created BCD store, saying this:

The boot configuration data store could not be opened. A required privilege is not held by the client.

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise with an administrator account.

If you're on a domain, being an administrator/the administrator doesn't help. Your group policy can lock you out of many things.
You should probably contact the IT department and see if they can do whatever it is you want to do with their account. Please also note that running EasyBCD in enterprise environments requires the commercial license.
