While working on my laptop drive to repair various aspects of the drive, I accidentally clicked on the "Install BCD" button in the BCD Deployment tab instead of the "Write MBR"
Now my desktop refuses to boot, even after attempting to replace GRUB2 back on the MBR using various known good working methods.
How can this be restored?
Addition: I do have CentOS recuse DVD as well as Windows 7

Update.The Windows Recovery DVD worked. All I had to do was run it twice. The first time it removed the BCD, second was "Repair startup"
