There are a total of 2 entries listed in the Vista Bootloader.
Bootloader TimeOut: 30 seconds.
Default OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate

Entry #1

Name: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Windows Directory: \Windows

Entry #2

Name: Microsft Windows XP 64bit
BCD ID: {ntldr}
Drive: D:\
Bootloader Path: \ntldr
Windows Directory:

You need to install EasyBCD on Vista as it uses a BCD. Add the XP drive then the boot timeout etc. in settings.

Don't alter what EasyBCD sets up.
Let EasyBCD auto-configure the XP entry.
You seem to have altered it to point to the XP drive - That's wrong.
XP's boot files must be on the boot partition, so XP should also point to C.
EasyBCD makes all the necessary copies and correctly chains back to the "real" XP drive inside a custom built boot.ini
Windows XP
