I am using vhds. I have w8 and w7 on various hard drives and trying bcd 2.2. It works well for configuring the vhds, etc. However on one W8 it was taking too long to select one of the vhds. I set the time to 5 seconds but to no avail. I tried to save the backup on another partition (hoping I could copy one that worked). Well I only proceeded to trash the boot system and had to restore from an image. Therefore I would more information on which keys to use to back up bcd and which to use to restore with. Whatever I did, did not work.
