Setting Up BCD

Since I am not a software geek, but a hardware geek, I need to ask some simple questions.
1. First of al I have two separate hard drives. The primary hard drive has just Win 7 on it. The second hard drive has Win 10 on it.
2. If I install BCD on the Primary hard drive, will it see both drives? And will it boot to the program and not go straight to Win7? I hate to sound so stupid among you all. This is something that I really want to work.

You are doing a similar setup to me, 7 on the 1st drive and 10 on other drives and yes, EBCD can be set to alter timeout and even cancel time-out altogether.
Don't forget to "Save Settings".

When first accessing drives across partitions you may need to give yourself permission. It's very simple. the system will prompt you throuigh the steps.

In addition to Peter's answer, don't install the BCD to the other drive. Only one copy of the BCD is needed per PC (on the boot drive).
