Suse 10.1 password problem

#1
Installed Suse 10.1,but at login screen asks for user I.D. and password.
I just entered the root password and no other users.
What i should put in the I.D. box and password ?
Any help very appreciated. :tongueout:oint: :tongueout:oint: :tongueout:oint: :tongueout:oint:

You should have created a new user during the SUSE setup process. Did it at any point ask you for your name?

I did not create a new user,do i have to do it ?
Was never asked for my name, should i reinstall it ?
I was asked for the host name and domain name,i just accepted what was in the boxes.
Did i have to modify that ?
Thanks for your time.

Yeah, try a reinstall.

The host name and domain shouldn't be involved.

Hey Sarge, what's up with your signatures? They don't show any more.

Imageshack sucks, create a Photobucket account, it's WAY better: http://photobucket.com/

I dunno.. I can only see the ones from userbars.us, nothing from userbars.org is showing up (though userbars.org loads in my browser OK)
