Two C: Drives Bad Boot

I’m very nervous about changing settings using BCD, I need a little hand-holding.
My Windows 10 PC seems to be seeing two boot options and choosing the wrong one.
When I installed a new boot SSD, I moved the old boot drive as a backup for storage. I did not remove the Windows data from that drive!
Now the boot grabs the old boot drive and gives me Win 7 instead of Win10. Somehow it seems to be shown as a second C: drive. Once upon a time the old
drive was C: before I put in the SSD, but not any longer. BCD shows two Windows 10 drives.
Bottom line: What can I change to make the pc boot to the SSD and block anything from the old C: drive or its leftovers? Can I use BCD to accomplish this? Anything I need to do in the BIOS?
As soon as this is stabilized, I plan to back up any useful files on the old drive, then reformat it for data-only usage.
Thanks for you help and your fine program, which I paid for
