Win7 / Mint 13 Linux Dual Boot Screen problem

I am running Win 7 and Mint 13 off the same HD. Both run fine in that I can chose which OS to run via the Grub loader menu. So when I restart, I can choose one or the other and both OSs run fine. My problem is when I turn the laptop power on, I'm presented with a garbled (3 - 4 colored lines like the display is condensed vertically) screen. If I wait long enough, the machine loads Mint 13. To be able to run Win 7 from a power on, I need to load Mint 13, do a restart and choose Wind 7 from the Grub loader menu.

Here are my settings:

There are a total of 2 entries listed in the bootloader.

Default: Windows 7
Timeout: None
EasyBCD Boot Device: C:\

Entry #1
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {default}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \windows\system32\winload.exe

Entry #2
Name: Linux Mint 13
BCD ID: {81545851-27f9-11df-a424-f830c60060c3}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \NST\AutoNeoGrub0.mbr

Please advise how I can run and be able to view the Microsoft Boot Manager screen from power on.

Thank you!
