Windows Will Not Boot

So I installed EasyBCD on my desktop over a year ago when I was attempting to install a Linux distribution on my Windows 8 PC. The Linux distribution never installed so I never attempted to install it since. I noticed that every time I turned on my computer, it would ask me if I wanted to boot into Windows or Kubuntu 13.10 (the Linux distribution that I attempted to install). I today went into the EasyBCD application to remove Kubuntu from the boot menu. I then removed it & I restarted my computer to see if it was removed & it was still there yet Windows 8.1 is no longer an option to boot from. I cannot boot into the operating system that it is allowing me to boot into because it never got installed. The operating system that actually is installed on my computer is not an option to boot into. Help.
