It only works in the <strong>Windows Recovery Console<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Synopsis\">Synopsis<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Arguments under the <strong>[ \u00a0]<\/strong> brackets are optional.<\/p>\n<pre><strong>map<\/strong> [<strong>arc<\/strong>]<\/pre>\n<h2><span id=\"Description\">Description<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <code><strong>map<\/strong><\/code> command provides a path of the\u00a0volumes and the hard drives they belong to. This command is useful when using <code><strong>fixboot<\/strong><\/code> and <code><strong>fixmbr<\/strong><\/code> commands.
