Removing dualboot and old partition

I have installed WinXP and, after, Win7 in dualboot..
I want only use Win7.
I have removed XP entry and, now, the boot is only for WIn7.
Is it possible with EasyBCD, to transfer boot information in the Win 7 drive, so I can delete the XP partition?

EasyBCD 2.0 > Backup/Repair BCD > Change Boot drive
Point it to W7 when it asks.
(If XP is on a different HDD to W7, change the BIOS to boot from the W7 HDD)
Reboot
Check in Disk Management that W7 is now "system" "active"
Format the XP partition.
 
Thank you Terry, but I have W7 in a logical drive and EBCD does'nt change boot drive...
I don't know how set the W7 partition to a primary partition.
Sorry for my "incompetence".

Addendum:

OK Terry, all done...
With bootable-cd of Partition Manager I have set the Win7 partition "primary" and after with EBCD changed boot drive to these partition.
And now all XP traces are done.

Similar problem here. I had Win 7 RC dual boot with XP and it worked fine. XP on C drive Win 7 on W drive. Now Win 7 RC has expired I formatted the W partition. Probably a mistake! The first boot screen now has only one entry Windows XP old. Next boot screen has 2 entries Windows XP on C drive, Windows XP on W drive. There is nothing on W drive. How do I get rid of second entry and just return to XP on C drive? I think I have to go to BootLoader Setup > Install the Windows XP bootloader to the MBR then press Write MBR. Is this correct? I don't want to stuff it up. Thanks

There is nothing in C:\NST\ folder

Yes, you just need to revert to the XP bootmanager as you speculated.
The MBR will then search the PBR for NTLDR, not bootmgr.
Check that C:\boot.ini looks like this

[boot loader]
timeout=20
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP" /fastdetect

If you have multiple lines in the OS section, remove all the redundant ones
 
Thanks Terry that fixed it. Boot.ini had 2 lines in the OS section, one for drive C and one for drive W. Had to go into msconfig to edit the boot.ini file then click 'check boot paths' or words to that effect. It reported error with drive W and allowed me to delete it. Now boots direct to C drive, no boot menu. Just what I wanted.
