Am i in trouble if i hit the Write MBR button in MBR config options under BCD Deployment?

Upon first use of EasyBCD, i accidentally pressed the "Write MBR" button in the MBR Configuration Options section of the BCD Deployment pane. I did this on someone elses PC laptop which had no problems. Does hitting this button create problems for that laptop, especially when the laptop is rebooted?

This occurred while i was attempting to create a bootable external USB drive for diagnosing and fixing problems on a different computer.
 
Don't reboot the PC until you've checked that everything that used to be in the BCD (view settings) is still there.
Make sure that there's an entry for the running OS, or you won't be able to reboot successfully.
 
Terry60, The laptop had to be rebooted before i checked your reply. It did successfully reboot (according to the owner), so it looks like we escaped with some luck. Thank you for posting your reply, and we will be much more careful next time.
