I am a first time user of EasyBCD and I'm running into trouble adding a new recovery environment option to my boot.
I am on a laptop running Windows 11 Pro. The backup software I use creates a USB rescue disk but not a boot rescue environment. So
1. I created a usb rescue drive.
2. On my laptop's hdd I created a small 2 GB partition formatted Fat 32.
3. I copied all the files from recovery usb to that partition J:
4. But I cannot add that new recovery environment.
I uploaded screen shots to show where I am.
I think my entries in the add New Entry must be wrong. Maybe someone can tell me what is wrong because the new entry does not appear in the bootmenu screen.
I also don't see where to "save" the new entry in case that is the problem.
I also wish to remove the drive letter when I am done. I only gave it a letter so I could find it to point to in easyBCD.
Thank you.
I see the added files did not upload......
The screenshots did not upload.
