EasyBCD Boot Configuration Assistance Needed for nectarplus.health Server Setup

Hi Team,

We're currently setting up a dual-boot environment for one of our development servers at nectarplus.health — a health tech platform offering online consultations across 30+ specialities.

We're using EasyBCD to manage the bootloader for a system running Windows Server 2022 alongside Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, which hosts a part of our backend services. However, we're facing issues where the GRUB loader is not appearing correctly after configuration with EasyBCD. Instead, the system boots directly into Windows without showing the Linux option.

Here's our setup:

  • Primary OS: Windows Server 2022 (NTFS, C:smile:
  • Secondary OS: Ubuntu 22.04 (ext4, installed on separate partition)
  • Boot manager used: EasyBCD 2.4.0.237
  • UEFI mode: Enabled in BIOS

We've tried adding the Linux entry via the “GRUB 2” option in EasyBCD, pointing it to the correct partition, but no success.

Would really appreciate any insights on whether we need to:

  1. Reinstall GRUB or change boot priority?
  2. Disable Secure Boot?
  3. Use a different method for managing dual-boot on servers like ours?

Thank you in advance for your support! We’d love to get this resolved to streamline our deployment pipeline.
