EasyRE Professional for Windows 10.iso not working on USB Stick

Hello,
I have an issue with the EasyRE Professional for Windows 10.iso file when I install it on an USB stick; when I install it on a DVD, it works as expected but takes a long time from boot till it can be used.
I installed the iso as explained under Making an EasyRE Recovery USB and I can boot from the stick, but then during startup there seems to be an infinite loop while trying to mount a drive. This doesn't happen if I use the DVD version.
What can make the difference?
The USB stick is a 64GB from Sandisk which i split into 2 partitions (30GB for the ISO formatted with FAT32) and the rest left unallocated.

Thanks in Advance for helpful hints.

Best Regards

Harald

Something deep in my subconscious says that partitioning a USB stick might cause problems, but that could be complete hogwash.
You could try a smaller stick and check if I'm way off the mark.
Otherwise try

Hello Terry,
thanks for the hint; I tried with a 16GB stick and it worked on the 2'nd trial. I formatted the stick with FAT32 but forgot to make the partition active.
Once I did this I could create the bootable stick with Easy USB Creator Lite and could thereafter start the PC with this stick without issues.
I wanted to check if the problem I mentioned in my thread was really based on the partitioning of the 64 GB stick, so I repartitioned it to one FAT32 partition of 16GB and left the rest unallocated. I also made the partition active and this configuration worked also.

Best Regards

Glad you got it sorted, and thanks for the additional detective work.
I shall try to delete the erroneous factoid from memory.
