wtf, i want to know how, how did you modify ntldr to work as easyldr0 or whatever and to modify its path to exbcd00 something????
did you hex edit it?
or what?
 
Hi @ward201185 - welcome and good question! You're referring to what we call "EasyLDR" in our wiki covering the Windows XP boot process:

NTLDR, primarily by virtue of its ubiquity and age, been partially/largely reverse engineered giving sufficient insight to replicate its functionality or change its behavior by either using a disassembler and patching the output or writing asm to carry out the same process with differences where needed. Check out Starman's ntldr page, it's a real treasure!
