Last night I was trying to fix an issue with Ubuntu boot, and accidentally deleted my boot menu list! Can't boot into anything now. Any fixes out there?
Thanks for the reply Terry60. I am trying to boot into Windows 10. Non UEFI. I went into bios last night and managed to get into windows 7. (another OS on my machine). I was thinking of creating a Windows 10 disk and using it to repair the MRB in Windows 10.
Boot the repair disk and select "startup repair" three times. (including the boot)
There are many things to fix if you've completely replaced the Windows boot process, and the repair disk only does one at a time. Fixing the Windows Bootloader via the setup DVD
Thanks for the info Terry. I am back up and running now. I had a Acronis backup on a external drive. I used a rescue disk for get to the backup and it repaired the MBR. Thank you for your time and replies. Michael.
