as per title, I would like to know what phones (brands and models) recent (one year more or less) are recommended for modding. I'm not an expert in the field, I got into modding about a year ago with my Xiaomi 9T Pro (Redmi k20 Pro) and have been doing ROM changes and other steps smoothly and relatively easily by following the guides found mostly on this site.
As of today, I need to change my phone and reading around I understand that houses like Xiaomi don't release bootloader unlock codes very willingly anymore, so I looked at the Realme GT 6T but even here, there seems to be no way to unlock the bootloader.
I would like to have and compose with you, a kind of list, also divided by price range where the most suitable devices for modding are indicated. For now there seems to be Pixel left (at rather high prices and Xiaomi which, however, present difficulties on unlocking the bootloader, it seems to me for HyperOS but I do not remember exactly).
I hope someone has some information and wants to work on this idea.
