XP, Win 7 and Linux - is it possible or not??

Hello,

I want three systems on one Harddrive (Notebook)

XP Professional (x86), Win 7 Ultimate (x64), and Ubuntu 10.04 (x86)

I've spent hours, and I'm not able to get it running :x

Is it possible, and what's the order of installation.

Big thanks in advance,

Kangaroo

Of course it is possible. I have done it many times. Install XP, then Win7 and then Ubuntu. Reapir the Win7 boot loader and get EasyBCD 2.0.1 and install it in Win7. Add an entry for XP and Ubuntu and make sure that it is setup with the proper settings. Your all set.

Or even better, when installing Ubuntu, select the "Advanced" option, then select to install Grub to the Ubuntu partition, instead of the MBR. Then you wont need to repair the Win 7 boot loader.
